SACWA Ungarra

Sharing and Caring with Action

About SACWA

We are a small eclectic  group of women of various ages , from different walks of life, complimenting  each other through our differences.

There are always a lot of laughs shared over afternoon  tea.

We would happily welcome more visitors or members. So why not come along, say Hi and check us out.

Meeting Times

Our meeting day is once a month on the second Tuesday in the afternoon  for companionship, and fun. We usually meet at a members home in Tumby Bay.

Some months we might have a guest speaker or  maybe a cooking demonstration, it changes often. We occasionally  join together with other branches on the Eyre Peninsula  for special days,  renewing  friendships and sharing  skills and  celebrating  life.

Meetings information

Handicrafts have always been synonymous with SACWA and the tradition continues at the Ungarra branch, with every fourth Tuesday devoted to learning new skills and contemporising old skills to suit modern themes.

A multitude of crafts can be taught to suit all skill levels enabling everyone to participate in a fun way.  New crafts are learnt each year,.

SACWA handicrafts aim is to keep the crafts alive and make sure that the advanced skills required to do them are not lost to the generations.
