Ungarra, where country hills meets community is a small town with a big heart.

Ungarra resides in the Tumby Bay Council area and is a short 20 minute drive from the beach in Tumby Bay and boasts an award winning SA Public education school, community sport including football, netball, tennis and more, a community cafe, playcentre and kindergym, local businesses, a local church and a Progress Association with a big vision for this town.

Ungarra is a connected community, with neighbours who look out for each other. Although at first glance it may appear not much is happening in Ungarra, as you will find in this website there is more than meets the eye.

Ungarra Primary School is a SA Public Education school that holds a rich history of over 100 years. It has a strong reputation of being an incredible school, with its quality staff, Stephanie Alexander kitchen program and beautiful grounds.
